Position Overview-ITI Diploma B Tech Mechanical job
The Mechanical Engineering Internship is designed to provide ITI, Diploma, and B-tech students with practical experience in a real-world manufacturing setting. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced engineering team, gaining valuable insights into the production processes, machine operation, quality control, and various other aspects of mechanical engineering in the automobile and CNC/VMC machining industry. This internship will serve as a platform for interns to apply their theoretical knowledge, develop their technical skills, and build a strong foundation for their future careers.
Key Responsibilities-ITI Diploma B Tech Mechanical job
1. Machine Operation and Maintenance:
– Assist in the operation of CNC and VMC machines under the supervision of senior technicians.
– Learn the basics of machine setup, calibration, and maintenance.
– Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance.
– Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to the maintenance team.
2. Production Support:
– Support the production team in various manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and finishing.
– Understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
– Monitor the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
– Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
3. Quality Control:
– Assist in quality inspection and testing of manufactured components.
– Learn to use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
– Conduct visual inspections and measurements to ensure products meet quality standards.
– Document inspection results and report any deviations or defects to the quality control team.
4. Technical Documentation:
– Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including process sheets, work instructions, and maintenance logs.
– Assist in creating engineering drawings and CAD models using software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
– Help update and organize technical manuals and reference materials.
5. Project Participation:
– Work on assigned projects related to process optimization, machine upgrades, or new product development.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
– Present project findings and recommendations to supervisors and management.
6. Learning and Development:
– Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
– Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in manufacturing technology.
– Seek feedback from mentors and supervisors to improve performance and address learning gaps.
7. Safety and Compliance:
– Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
– Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
– Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the safety officer immediately.
– Participate in safety drills and training programs.
Qualifications and Skills-ITI Diploma B Tech Mechanical job
Educational Background:
– ITI, Diploma, or B-tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
– Freshers are welcome to apply.
Technical Skills:
– Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and concepts.
– Familiarity with CNC and VMC machines is an advantage.
