Role Overview
The Account Executive will oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. As an Account Executive, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Financial Management
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and other financial discrepancies.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow projections, and expense reports.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and income tax regulations.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
3. Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll, including calculation of salaries, deductions, and bonuses.
- Ensure timely payment of statutory dues like EPF, ESI, and professional tax.
- Maintain employee-related financial records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
4. Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost-saving and revenue enhancement.
- Assist in preparing management reports and financial statements for decision-making.
5. Vendor and Client Management
- Manage vendor payments and ensure timely invoicing to clients.
- Handle credit control, debt collection, and client account reconciliations.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to streamline financial operations.
6. Internal Controls
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls.
- Monitor and control organizational expenses to align with budgets.
- Identify and address areas of financial risk.
7. Technology and Software
- Proficiently use accounting software like Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
- Leverage tools like MS Excel for advanced financial analysis and reporting.
- Ensure seamless integration of software with the organization’s financial systems.
