Job Description:
As an Account Executive, you will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for managing our financial records and reports with proficiency in Tally and GST. We are seeking a professional with 2-4 years of experience in accounting and finance, who can effectively handle various accounting responsibilities and contribute to the financial efficiency of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping and Management:
– Manage daily accounting operations, including the preparation and maintenance of financial records.
– Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in Tally ERP 9.
– Oversee accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoicing and bill payments.

2. GST and Tax Compliance:
– Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual GST filings and reconciliations.
– Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
– Assist in the preparation and filing of TDS returns and other tax-related documents.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
– Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for cost reduction and profitability enhancement.
– Monitor expenditure and ensure it aligns with budgetary constraints.

4. Financial Reporting:
– Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
– Analyze financial statements to understand the company’s financial position and report on variances.
– Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

5. Cash Flow Management:
– Monitor and manage the organization’s cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
– Reconcile bank statements and track banking activities.
– Forecast cash flow positions and available funds for investment.

6. Internal Controls and Policy Adherence:
– Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
– Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory guidelines.
– Recommend improvements in accounting systems and processes.

7. Stakeholder Communication:
– Collaborate with various departments to support financial planning and analysis.
– Liaise with external parties, such as auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
– Address queries and provide financial information to management as needed.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– 2-4 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a service industry setting.
– Proficient in Tally ERP 9 and knowledgeable in GST regulations.

Skills and Competencies:

– Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
– Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and data.
– Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software.
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
