The Account Executive will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the company’s financial transactions and records. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in accounting, a strong understanding of financial principles, and excellent analytical skills. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities-Account Executive job in Nehru Ground
1. Financial Record Management:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
– Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
– Prepare and maintain balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
– Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
– Handle accounts receivable by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
– Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy.
3. Bank Reconciliation:
– Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
– Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements as required.
4. Financial Reporting:
– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
– Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
– Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
5. Compliance and Audits:
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
– Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
– Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes and ensure all financial records are organized and easily accessible.
6. Taxation:
– Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
– Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on potential impacts.
– Coordinate with tax authorities and external consultants as needed.
7. Payroll Management:
– Assist in processing payroll, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and managing deductions.
– Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries to employees.
– Maintain payroll records and resolve any payroll-related issues.
8. Expense Management:
– Monitor and control company expenses to ensure they are within budget.
– Process employee expense reports and reimbursements accurately and promptly.
– Implement cost-saving measures and identify areas for financial efficiency.
9. Customer and Vendor Relations:
– Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors regarding billing, payments, and financial inquiries.
– Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts.
10. Administrative Support:
– Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing, data entry, and document management.
– Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
– Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills-Account Executive job in Nehru Ground
Educational Background:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
– 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
– Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
