1. Accounting Operations:
– Manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger management.
– Prepare financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in compliance with accounting standards.
– Maintain general ledgers, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
2. Taxation and Compliance:
– Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns as per deadlines.
– Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure compliance with government regulations.
– Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits or inspections.
3. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
– Conduct financial analysis to assess the company’s performance and identify trends.
– Provide detailed reports to management, highlighting variances and recommending actionable steps for improvement.
– Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
– Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
– Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
– Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely recovery.
5. Payroll Management:
– Manage payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and statutory compliance.
– Ensure timely disbursement of employee salaries and submission of EPF, ESIC, and other statutory payments.
– Maintain employee expense records and ensure adherence to company policies.
6. Banking and Cash Management:
– Handle banking operations, including bank reconciliations, fund transfers, and cash flow management.
– Monitor and manage working capital requirements to ensure financial stability.
– Liaise with banks and financial institutions for loan processing, documentation, and negotiations.
7. Audit Coordination:
– Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and reconciliations for internal and external audits.
– Collaborate with auditors to address queries and ensure timely completion of audits.
– Implement recommendations from audit findings to strengthen financial controls.
8. Process Improvement:
– Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes and improving efficiency.
– Implement financial systems and software for enhanced accuracy and reporting.
– Train and guide junior staff members on accounting practices and company policies.
Qualifications: Account Executive job in sector 21
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as CA Inter, CMA, or MBA (Finance) is a plus.
