Finance Manager job-Role Overview:
As the Finance Manager job at the Company, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s financial activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. With 10-12 years of experience in finance and accounting, the successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking abilities, and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.
Finance Manager job-Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
– Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support the company’s growth objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
– Conduct regular financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance tracking to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
– Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and management reports.
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control policies, liaising with auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.
3. Cash Flow Management and Treasury Operations:
– Manage the company’s cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements, optimizing cash flow forecasting, cash management strategies, and investment decisions.
– Monitor banking relationships, negotiate financing agreements, and oversee banking transactions, including loans, credit facilities, and foreign exchange transactions.
4. Financial Risk Management:
– Identify and assess financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk, implementing risk mitigation strategies and controls to safeguard the company’s financial assets.
– Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
5. Tax Planning and Compliance:
– Oversee tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position, minimize tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
– Coordinate with external tax advisors, government authorities, and internal stakeholders to address tax-related inquiries, audits, and reporting requirements.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
– Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training to foster their professional growth and development.
– Cultivate a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration within the finance department, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Finance Manager job-Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional finance certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred.
– 10-12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership position within a manufacturing environment.
– In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, with demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
– Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify key insights, and make informed business recommendations.
– Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
– Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
