Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control Systems:
– Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive quality control systems to ensure the production of high-quality plastic components.

2. Product Inspection and Testing:
– Design and implement product inspection and testing protocols for incoming materials and finished goods.
– Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure products meet specified quality standards.
3. Root Cause Analysis:
– Investigate and analyze product defects or deviations from quality standards.
– Implement root cause analysis methodologies to identify and address underlying issues.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
4. Quality Audits:
– Plan and conduct regular internal quality audits to assess adherence to established quality standards.
– Work closely with external auditors to facilitate external quality audits.
– Develop and implement strategies to address audit findings and improve overall quality.
5. Supplier Quality Management:
– Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials.
– Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
– Work with suppliers to address quality issues and improve overall supplier performance.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to quality control processes.
– Prepare regular reports on quality performance, highlighting trends, and areas for improvement.
– Present quality reports to management and provide recommendations for enhancements.
7. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
– Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes and procedures.
– Lead and participate in quality improvement projects to enhance overall product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
– Implement Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize processes and reduce defects.
8. Training and Development:
– Develop and deliver training programs on quality control processes for production and inspection teams.
– Ensure that all team members are well-versed in quality standards and procedures.
– Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance the quality mindset within the organization.
9. Regulatory Compliance:
– Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to plastic molding and manufacturing.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

– In-depth knowledge of quality control systems, inspection methodologies, and root cause analysis.
