Position Overview:
The Incoming Quality Engineer is pivotal to our operations, acting as the guardian of excellence for all incoming materials and components. With 3-5 years of hands-on experience in similar high-caliber environments, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to unparalleled quality, ensuring that every component entering our production line meets our stringent standards.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive incoming quality control procedures to ensure all received materials and components meet predefined quality standards.
– Collaborate closely with suppliers to enhance their quality systems, processes, and outputs, aligning them with Royal Autotech Pvt Ltd’s requirements.
– Conduct rigorous material inspections and supplier audits, employing advanced quality tools and methodologies such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
– Spearheaded the resolution of supplier-related quality issues, leading cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions swiftly.
– Manage and maintain the Incoming Quality Control (IQC) database, meticulously documenting inspections, audits, corrective actions, and supplier performance metrics.
– Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IQC process, regularly reviewing and refining quality control measures to adapt to new challenges and technological advancements.
– Provide expert guidance and training to the quality assurance and production teams on best practices for material handling, inspection, and defect prevention.
– Collaborate with the Procurement and Engineering departments to define clear quality criteria for new materials and components, ensuring seamless integration into production processes.
– Lead the charge in supplier qualification and re-evaluation processes, conducting thorough assessments to ensure compliance with Royal Autotech Pvt Ltd’s high standards.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
– 3-5 years of proven experience in quality engineering within the automobile or automotive parts manufacturing sector, specifically with PRESS SHOP and WELD SHOP processed parts.
– Strong proficiency in quality control methodologies, tools, and standards relevant to the sheet metals industry.
– Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed statistical analysis, utilizing quality tools such as SPC, RCA, and FMEA effectively.
– Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of successful supplier management and cross-functional team collaboration.
– In-depth understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality management systems.
– A proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a relentless drive for excellence.
– Robust organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
– Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.

Working Conditions:
6 Days / 9 hours working (flexible as per work schedule).
