Job Description

The Quality Line Inspector is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our manufacturing processes and output. This role involves rigorous inspection and testing of components, adherence to quality assurance protocols, and collaboration with the production team to ensure all products meet our stringent quality criteria and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to uphold the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. Utilize various measuring tools and equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to perform accurate measurements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and findings. Document quality issues and defects, and prepare reports for the quality assurance and production teams.
Process Improvement: Identify trends in product defects and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure all quality control activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated with the latest quality assurance trends, standards, and regulations relevant to our products.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to communicate quality control findings and recommendations. Assist in training production staff on quality standards and best practices to minimize defects and improve product quality.
Problem Solving: Investigate root causes of quality issues and collaborate with the engineering and production teams to develop and implement effective solutions. Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related challenges.
Quality Audits: Participate in internal and external quality audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up actions to address findings and recommendations.
Customer Satisfaction: Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring products meet or exceed customer requirements and quality standards. Address and resolve quality-related customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
– 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection or quality control in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or agricultural machinery sectors.
– Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment, with a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
– Solid knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements applicable to the manufacturing industry.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
– Attention to detail, with a commitment to achieving the highest standards of quality.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
