Key Responsibilities:

– Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, collect copayments, and assist patients with billing inquiries and payment processing.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area, including the reception area, waiting room, and patient registration area.
– Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry, to support the efficient operation of the front desk.
– Coordinate with other departments, such as medical records, billing, and nursing, to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
– Handle inquiries and complaints from patients and visitors, resolving issues or escalating them to appropriate personnel as needed.
– Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines governing patient confidentiality and privacy.
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– 2-4 years of experience as a Receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
– Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
– Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
