Job Summary-Senior NPD (New Product Development) Engineer

The Senior NPD Engineer will lead the development and introduction of new sheet metal products, driving innovation and ensuring that new products meet the specifications and requirements of customers and industry standards. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to ensure that all aspects of product development are efficiently executed. The role requires a deep understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes, a passion for innovation, and strong project management skills.

As a Senior NPD Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design to prototyping, testing, and production launch. You will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, refining product designs to meet customer needs, and ensuring that new products are developed within time and budget constraints. – Develop and Refine Product Designs: The Senior NPD Engineer will be responsible for developing and refining product designs, using CAD software and other engineering tools. You will work closely with design engineers to ensure that new products are optimized for performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.

– Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards: You will ensure that all new products comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, including those related to safety, quality, and environmental impact.
