Quality Inspector job in Nit-3 , We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in NIT-3, Faridabad, Haryana. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality inspection, a strong understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes, and the ability to ensure that products meet established standards of quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Quality Inspector job in Nit-3
- Inspection and Quality Control:
- Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Use measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to check dimensions and specifications.
- Verify that all products comply with engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining defects, non-conformities, and recommended corrective actions.
- Ensure documentation is up to date and follows ISO standards or other relevant quality management systems.
- Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with the production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Provide feedback to the production team regarding process improvements and defect prevention strategies.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss quality metrics, challenges, and solutions.
- Process Monitoring:
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct routine audits of processes and equipment to identify potential quality risks.
- Recommend adjustments or improvements to manufacturing processes to enhance product quality.
- Handling Non-Conformance:
- Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming products.
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine the source of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
- Calibration and Maintenance of Tools:
- Ensure all measuring instruments and tools are properly calibrated and in good working condition.
- Maintain a record of calibration schedules and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for any repairs or replacements of quality inspection tools.
- Adherence to Standards:
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer-specific requirements, and internal quality policies.
- Keep updated with industry standards and implement best practices in quality assurance.
- Train and guide junior staff or operators on quality standards and inspection procedures.
Key Skills and Competencies: Quality Inspector job in Nit-3
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Software Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of ERP or quality management software is an added advantage.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection or a similar role in the manufacturing sector.
- Experience in the sheet metal, fabrication, or auto-component industry is a plus.
